Dr Morve Roshan K.
I have been working as Lecturer, Teacher, Tutor, Volunteer, Haiku Poetess, Editor, Writer, and Translator for the past 7 years. I am prestigious to be an “Honorary Research Associate” at United Kingdom for three years and now I am based in United Kingdom. She has been awarded PhD degree from the Centre for Comparative Literature and Translation Studies, Central University of Gujarat, India on 26th November 2018. Also, I have awarded M. Phil degree from the same university and the centre in 2014. For M. Phil and PhD, I got awarded UGC Non-Net Fellowship. My last employment was at Children’s University, Gandhinagar as a Guest Faculty of English. My expertise areas are African literature, post-colonial literature, gender studies, cultural studies, postmodern, women studies, critical theories, diaspora studies, folklore Studies, English, comparative literature, and Islamic Studies. I have taught at Gujarat State Government School (taught English, in primary and middle School) as a volunteer for more than three years. In 7th July 2017, I got an invitation for delivering a lecture by the National Translation Mission, Mysore, Karnataka, India. I am in an International Advisory/Review/Associate/Prose Editor Board Member in Bangladesh, India, South Africa and London and Nigeria journals/Magazines. In addition, I have been working as Freelance Editor also.
My publications: 16 papers published, 2 books, 1 short story, 1 interview, and 6 poems. I am famous as poetess, novelist, editor, translator and writer. I have a great contribution to edit and translate books from English to Marathi language. As a chief editor and translator, I have published 74 Children’s Literature books from Emesco Press, Hyderabad, India. I took part actively with my research works in many international symposiums and conferences. Also, I have presented papers in the collaboration of many countries: BANGLADESH, BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, CHINA, SAUDI, TURKEY, MALDIVES, SUDAN, USA, UNITED KINGDOM AND UZBEKISTAN. I am familiar in an international arena for my research with high impact factors.
I am co-author of books: The Criticism of Annihilation and Compassion in Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights (1847) (Lakshya Press Book Publication, India 2018) and co-edited book Identity Negotiations and Marginality: The Theoretical Perspectives in the Contemporary Age (Lakshya Press Book Publication, India 2018). Her three co-edited books are under review in Palgrave and Springer. I have presented 26 papers in national and international conferences, seminars and symposiums. I got 9 travel grants from national and international governments and other institutional bodies. My interview (The interview taken by Mehedi Hasan and Dr Md Habibur Rahman) on “The History of Bangladesh” has published in the Daily Ittefaq Newspaper Press, published in Dhaka, Bangladesh on July 2017.
